Located on a 40-ha modern campus in Tan Hong - Hoan Son Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province, Quang An I Industry Joint Stock Company is an exemplary multi-business company in Bac Ninh. Key business lines include plastics, plastic toys, logistics and passenger transportation.
To gain a solid foothold in the Bac Ninh business community, Board President Luu Van Toan has made enormous efforts to build the company. In the 1990s, he started his business with a small production facility and houses for rent for foreigners. In 1996, he established Quang An Company which was named after his hometown. In 2003, it was officially renamed to Quang An I Industry Joint Stock Company. Seeing potential and strength in Bac Ninh, he decided to invest in the province to serve as a subcontractor for world-leading corporations like Yamaha and Unilever.
Besides, Quang An I is a pioneer in Tan Hong Industrial Park. Toan said as soon as his company built production facilities in this industrial park, it received strong support from provincial authorities. Thus, the company has to date built factories on a total area of 40 ha with many different items like standard water treatment facilities for the entire industrial park. In addition, Quang An I also has more than 300 trucks and 400 passenger buses to meet the growing demand of customers.
Global economic slowdown has dragged on most companies and Quang An I is no exception. However, with its strong internal resources and the resolve of the management, the company continues expanding its operations and diversifying products to enhance competitiveness and provide best services for customers. Apart from plastics, rubber, passenger and freight transportation, Quang An I also provides catering, bar, hotel and restaurant services. The firm is also involved in sales agent, forwarding, commercial advertisement, food processing, industrial construction, irrigation, real estate and others.
In addition to business front, Quang An I pays high attention to the working and living conditions of its employees. The company is now employing more than 1,000 workers and is paying a large amount of taxes to the State coffers. It regularly organises amusement activities to lighten the mood of its employees and builds houses for them. Speaking of long-term orientations, Board President Luu Van Toan said the company will accelerate export and import activities and boost the popularity of the Quang An I brand name.
