CMS computer for international integration

On September 20, 2004, Microsoft Vietnam and CMS Company signed a co-operation OEM agreement in Hanoi. The agreement allows CMS to officially supply computers installed with Vietnamese-language Microsoft Windows operating system software to the market from October 2004.

Microsoft Vietnam is committed to making CMS the first supplier of Windows in the Vietnamese language, to build in-house test labs and to train in technical, marketing and sales expertise.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hai, CMS Director said: “It is both an opportunity and challenge to CMS. The price of computers with copyrighted software will be higher. However, sooner or later, Vietnam must comply with the process of international integration.

CMS has had the biggest sales in five consecutive years of any Vietnamese computer company. The company is always the first choice of OEM partnership in Vietnam by famous IT firms such as Intel, Seagate and LG.
