Former PM of the United Kingdom (UK) Tony Blair is ready to share experiences with Vietnam in terms of economic reform, State-owned enterprise reform, attraction of foreign investment, response to climate change, development of Public-Private Partnership model, education and training, and environmental protection.

Mr. Blair gave confirmation in his meeting with PM Nguyen Tan Dung on October 15 in Ha Noi.

The former British PM asserted the role and status of Vietnam on the international arena in the future and valued ASEAN's six-point principles on the East Sea.

He said that he will do his utmost to strengthen the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the UK.

Meanwhile, PM Dung applauded the working visit of the guest, which is expected to boost up the strategic partnership of the two nations.

Vietnam wants to cooperate with the UK to push up the relationship in all fields, especially politics, diplomacy, economy, trade, investment, tourism, education and training, he said.

PM Dung hoped that the UK will continue to provide Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Vietnam, focusing on infrastructure and response to climate change.

The Vietnamese PM also highly spoke of Mr. Blair’s goodwill on sharing experiences with Vietnam in the renovation and international integration process.
