VAT Payable in June 2012 Extended

The Government decided to extend another three-month delay for VAT payable in June 2012 amid macroeconomic uncertainties and rising trend of consumer price index, which climbed 2.2 per cent in September. Beneficiaries are specified at the Government’s Resolution No. 13 / NQ-CP dated May 10, 2012.

 

This is one of solutions that the Government adopts in the Resolution No. 67/NQ-CP dated October 5, 2012. Besides, the government also requests ministries, branches and localities to implement measures to speed up mobilisation and disbursement of ODA and FDI capital; manage and control prices of essential commodities like petroleum, electricity, coal, and public services; increased price-stabilising points of sales; strengthen inspection and control of imports, prevent trade fraud, counterfeits and inferior quality goods; and ensure the enough supply of commodities for production and livelihood, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
