Ninth Productivity and Quality Forum: Ahead of Time
The ninth productivity and quality forum themed ‘Ahead of Time’, held by the Vietnam Productivity Centre in
Clearly, Vietnamese enterprises face great challenges at home. To thrive, there is no option for them but to equip themselves with optimal ‘weapons.’ Accordingly, they must find an answer to the question of how they can strengthen themselves in the face of complicated developments and challenges. Enterprises must build their strength, creating a solid foundation for their sustainable development or they will be left behind. A well-integrated system will be able to resist outside ‘storms.’ To this end, enterprises should optimize their management technology, develop flexible production and business strategies, manage internal and external knowledge resources, and provide customers with added value which is not provided by their rivals.
Hang said that quality longer constituted an absolute advantage. Enterprises should also take advantage of customer service, delivery time, new products and technology applications. In other words, on a quality management basis, enterprises should increase the effectiveness of their activities with tools to increase their productivity. Moreover, they should take into account sustainable development so that they will not have to pay an environmental price in the future. Also, they must find proper ways to access markets.
With these speeches and presentations by Vietnamese and foreign lectures, the forum offered enterprises a new vision for stepping firmly forward to the future.
