Phu Quoc Int’l Airport Opens
Phu Quoc International Airport has just been put into operation. The airport, invested and operated by Vietnam Airlines, is located in Duong To commune, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province.
After 4 years of construction, the airport is now capable of receiving large aircraft like B747-400, and serving 1,325 passengers per rush hour. The airport is capable of serving 2.65 million passengers a year,
The Ministry of Transport has directed relevant agencies to ensure security and safety for operations here.
