First Day of Entrepreneurs Held in HCM City

To celebrate the Decision of Prime Minister Phan Van Khai on selecting October 13 as the Day of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs, the HCM City Association of Enterprises, the HCM City Association of Young Enterprises and Doanh Nhan Sai Gon newspaper participated in a television live show on the evening of October 13 at Sheraton Hotel to directly exchange views with entrepreneurs in Hue City and Hanoi.

The special event remarked and honoured important contributions of Vietnamese business people in the country’s development progress. More than 500 enterprises at the meeting contributed over VND1 billion to social and charity activities.

Notably, entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City won a precious stone picture attached with the signature of General Vo Nguyen Giap in an auction sales with the price of VND1.83 billion in a bid to partly help the poor escape difficulties.
