11:18:26 AM | 3/18/2013

Vietnam Supply Chain will organise the first Vietnam LEAN Symposium 2013 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from April 10 to 12. This is the first conference on lean production for industrial manufacturers in Vietnam.

The meeting will centre on such key issues like Lean application and other real-life situations; challenges in Lean application in Vietnam; solutions to Lean achievement and perfect combination of Lean and supply chain applications.

The conference will be attended by speakers from big domestic and foreign corporations. With nearly 200 delegates registering to join in in-depth presentations on best practices in Lean and challenges in Lean application in Vietnam, the symposium will provide keys to such questions as how Lean works to generate more value and profits for enterprises? How to achieve Lean production? How to assess Lean projects or business activities versus competitors?

On the sidelines of the meeting, the organisers will host Factory Tour programmes to visit operations at Sanofi-Aventis, Schneider Electric/Clipsal, and Vietnam Brewery on April 11.
