National Grid to Add over 260 MW in Aug

The National Load Dispatch Centre (NLDC) said six other hydropower turbines with a combined capacity of 262.5 MW are added to the national grid in August 2013. New operational turbines include the first turbine of Serepok 4A hydropower plant, the second turbine of Tha Nang hydropower plant, the second and third turbines of Van Chan hydropower plant, the second turbine of Sekaman hydropower plant, and the second turbine of Dambri hydropower plant.

 

From now until the end of 2013, the power system will have 24 more operational turbines with a combined capacity of 1,583.5 MW.
