Brazil Extends Anti-dumping Probe on Rubber Bike Tyres Imported from Vietnam

The Vietnam Competition Authority (VCA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade said the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil has announced to extend another six-month probe in accusations of rubber bike tyre antidumping from Vietnam, India and China starting from September 3, 2013 for the anti-dumping investigation on rubber bicycle tire imports from Vietnam, India and China.

 

The case, initiated in September 2012, was earlier expected to conclude on September 3. Under the investigation extension, the final conclusion is due on March 3, 2014. The Brazilian side said the dumping margin of the Vietnamese products on sale in its market is as high as 97.9 percent.
