Border Gate Economic Zone Development Plan Revised

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung recently approved the scheme "Reviewing and adjusting Vietnam economic zone development plan till 2020, with a vision to 2030."

 

Vietnam targets to earn US$30 billion from cross-border trade by 2020, an equivalent to an annual growth rate of 12.3 percent till the year. In 2020, the country expects to welcome 8.5 million travellers from the neighbours and 8 million Vietnamese people visiting the neighbours going past border gate border gate economic zones by 2020.
