Prospect of Safety Glass Discussed
At a seminar on safety glass organised by Sao Mai Co., Ltd in Hanoi, Mr. Phan Thien Chan, Vice-Chairman of the Construction Glass Association said that in the future safety glass will be used widely in civilian and industrial projects. The glass is safe, upon breaking pieces stick together, causing no harm to users. The coloured film between two glass layers reduces strong light and provides security measures. It also saves energy and maintains inside temperature.
Sao Mai Co., Ltd is the sole distributor in Vietnam of technology and production line of safety glass from famous companies such as Glassrobots (Finland), Trosifol (Germany) and Bottero (Italia). Several Vietnamese companies have imported the production line from Sao Mai namely Vinaconex 7, Dap Cau glass factory, Agriculture and Rural Development Company (construction glass), MIFA (glass for automobiles).
