Toyota Vietnam Supports VND90Mln to Central Flood-stricken Victims
Toyota Vietnam officially handed over VND90 million to flood-stricken victims in Central Vietnam on December 2. The five provinces that received the donor sum are Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue (VND30 million each), Quang Tri, Quang Binh and Quang Ngai (VND10 million each). This is one of Toyota’s many regular social activities in Vietnam.
During its nine years of operation in Vietnam, Toyota has contributed over US$180 million to the State budget and over US$3 million for training courses for the development of human resource and socio-culture and for environment protection. Nearly VND900 million has been spent on calamity recovery.
