Ceasing Temporary Import for Re-export of Timber from Laos and Cambodia
The Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular 37/2014/TT-BCT on suspending temporary import for re-export of logs and sawn timbers from natural forests in Laos and Cambodia.
The circular is set to take effect on December 8, 2014. As for contracts signed before the effective date, traders are allowed to carry on temporary import for re-export until December 31, 2014.
