Korea - Vietnam Job Fair for Global Talents 2014

In a bid to connect South Korean firms with Vietnamese young workforce, the Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the South Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City successfully held the Korea - Vietnam Job Fair for Global Talents 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

The job fair, first held in HCM City in 2013, received positive feedback from South Korean businesses as well as Vietnamese candidates. To promote the success last year, the Government of South Korea decided to support KOTRA to organise the job bazaar in 2014.

 

More than 45 South Korean businesses in Vietnam attended the job fair, including Hyosung, STX, Lotte Mart, Daewoo International and Korea United Pharmaceutical. Jobs were available for candidates capable of information technology, law, economics, finance, engineering, medicine, translation - interpretation, education and agriculture.

On the sidelines of the event, representatives from STX and Lotte Mart expressed their hopes for recruiting qualified candidates for immediate employment to fill their vacancies.
