Beautiful Korea and Taipei, ancient Yangon and the shoppers’ paradises of Bangkok and Singapore are all awaiting visitors following the news that Vietjet is giving away 400,000 promotional tickets on all its domestic and international routes.

Through this promotional campaign, Vietjet’s vision is to pioneer a change in the way people travel and give them opportunities to enjoy vacations the year-round holidays in attractive tourism destinations, a Vietjet representative said.
Tran Minh Ngoc from an entertainment company in HCM City said it’s hard for her family to take summer vacations together as her husband works for a tourism company.
“Summer is always the busiest time for my husband, so we have no choice but to go on holiday at other times of the year such as autumn, winter or Tet,” she said.
Other travellers are interested in Vietjet’s low-cost tickets for flights to Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Yangon (Myanmar) and Seoul (South Korea).
"As a tropical city, the weather in HCM City does not change much during the autumn, I have dreamed of travelling to South Korea to enjoy the autumn there for years. Low-cost tickets from Vietjet will make my dream come true,” said Vu Hoang Vinh, a real estate broker in HCM City.
Besides holiday makers, Vietjet’s promotion gives entrepreneurs opportunities to go on economical business trips.
John Smith, the director of an Australian food company in Ha Noi, said he frequently flies between Ha Noi and HCM City for work.
The 400,000 promotional tickets are available for booking at www.vietjetair.com from August 25 to September 1 at noon (12:00 to 14:00). Travel periods are between September 1 and December 31, 2015 for domestic flights, and from September 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 for flights from Vietnam to Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei and Seoul, besides Yangon. “In the past, I had to book a night flight in business class and a room in a luxury hotel, which costs me more than VND10 million (US$444) each time,” he said.
But Smith’s first flight with Vietjet last year made him change his mind. Now, Vietjet has become his first-choice airline for business trips.
“In the context of difficult economic conditions, cutting expenses including those for business trips, is our company’s top priority. Previously, a one-way air ticket in business class was normally equal to an employee’s monthly salary in my company,” he said.
“I can save both time and money by flying with Vietjet, so why not?” he said, adding that he had set an example by choosing to fly at the most economical rate possible.
Vietjet is the first carrier in Viet Nam to have launched daily promotional programmes. Passengers can purchase super saver tickets daily from noon to 2pm and will experience the full range of Vietjet’s high-quality services including comfortable leather seating on modern aircraft, refreshing drinks and delicious meals served by our friendly flight attendants, and plenty of special surprises onboard.”
