Online Friday 2016 to Attract over 3,000 Firms
Recently, the Vietnam E-commerce and Information Technology Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a press conference to announce Online Friday 2016 - an online shopping day.
Online Friday 2016 will be a combination of online and offline activities, including Online Shopping Day Autumn 2016 on September 30, the Vietnam e-commerce development forum in November, Vietnam Online Shopping Day on December 2, and the BigOFF event on December 1 and 2.
Online Friday 2016 is expected to have 50,000 products on sale guaranteed by the organiser, and attract over 3,000 businesses with 200,000 discounted products. The revenue from this event is expected at over VND1 trillion. The organising panel has issued regulations on the transparency of product quality and discounts to protect consumers’ rights.
