Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee hosted a meeting with outstanding businesses on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2019).
At the meeting, Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, sent congratulations and thanks to entrepreneurs and enterprises for what they have done for the province and emphasized that the province is striving to achieve its goal of becoming a modern industrial province by 2020. To realize this goal, in addition to the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people, the role and contribution of the business community is needed.
He hoped that, in the coming time, they will continue to promote their advantages, grasp opportunities and adhere to Party and State guidelines and policies, provincial socioeconomic development strategies for investment, production and business activities. In particular, they need to boldly apply scientific and technological advances to production and business. At the same time, he also affirmed that the province will focus on directing solutions to tackle difficulties and limitations to create the most favorable and open conditions for them to do business; further improve the investment environment and fair competition.
By the end of September 30, 2019, Vinh Phuc had 11,169 enterprises, including more than 370 FDI firms, higher than the targets set by the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress.
