Unilever with Unique Recruitments

 

Unilever is different from other enterprises in its unique recruitments through its annual "Job Festival for Students" Day. Each year, it can recruit 15-20 new staffs.

 

Combined with the Apprentice Administrator Programme, the Unilever’s Job Festival for Students" was organised in Hanoi on May 5 (and was previously held in Ho Chi Minh City). Over 300 final-year students and about 200 third-year students with good study results from universities in the city were invited to the event. This programme reflects a recruitment reality that outstanding and potential students are favoured and called by large and prestigious companies and Unilever is a pioneer.

 

With the maxim "Your Passion, Our Strength", Unilever has introduced to all attended students its business norms, training policies, study opportunities and its enthusiastic, creative and competitive working environment. Through the Apprentice Administrator Programme, the students have experienced examination rounds, skill-testing rounds and interviews to be eligible for its official staffs. The aim of the company is to foster these successful candidates into senior managers after three years of working. According Ms. Phan Nam Tran, director of the Unilever Personnel Department, Unilever has recruited 109 staffs since 1998 and many of them have become Unilever senior managers.
