2,700 Guest Workers Permitted in Korea
According to the Guest Worker Management Department under the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Korean Federation of Small Business (KFSB) has granted permissions to nine Vietnamese labour export enterprises, allowing 2,700 Vietnamese guest workers to work in the Republic of Korea. Accordingly, 2,100 workers are allowed to work in factories and the remaining, in construction work sites.
KFSB is considering granting permission to more Vietnamese guest workers, who earns US$900 per month each.
