Japanese Business Delegation to Visit HCM City in June
Vietnam’s Trade Office in Japan will coordinate with the Ministry of Trade to organize a fact-finding trip to Ho Chi Minh City for a Japanese business delegation from June 23 to 26, 2005.
The move is aimed at helping Japanese firms to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in Vietnam.
The delegation will consist of representatives of 21 Japanese firms operating in such fields as rubber, handicraft, stationery, packaging and foodstuff.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Japan will also organize a Vietnam - Japan business forum at the Legend Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on June 23, 2005.
Vietnam attracted 32 Japanese investment projects with combined pledged investment of US$141.3 million in the first five months of this year, raising the total number of Japanese investment projects in Vietnam to 527 with aggregate registered investment capital of US$5.81 billion.
