Vietnam now has 970 seagoing vessels with a combined loading capacity of 2.85 million tons, ranking 60/152 in the world and 4/11 in the Southeast Asia, according to the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
The Southeast nation currently has 129 wharves in eight groups of seaports, 17 transshipment zones and nine offshore crude oil exporting ports.
Vietnam also has 41 passageways with a total length of 818 m, 72 lighthouses and 32 inshore signaling stations. Transport
