Vietnam's First Auto Supermarket Opens

Thien Thanh International Co. Ltd on June 24 announced the opening of an automobile supermarket at No. 6 Hanoi Highway, Binh Thang ward, Di An district, southern Binh Duong Province.

This is the first automobile supermarket in Vietnam, covering 40,000 square meters.

The supermarket displays and introduces world-famous car trademarks.

It is also engaged in car rescue, repair, maintenance and deposit services and the loan-to-buy-car service, which Thien Thanh International lends up to 50 per cent of the car value with a maturity of four years. Thien Thanh International staff, not banks, process lending.

In the meantime, Vietnam is witnessing a car production rush among local firms and foreign ones. The country now has 13 foreign-invested car firms, including two newly licensed Honda and VMEP, and about 200 local firms specializing in car manufacture, assembly and repair.
