The Prime Minister on June 16 promulgated a decree on building measures to reduce input costs, raising competitive capability for aviation and navigation enterprises.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Transport has to complete rearrangement of aviation and navigation enterprises by 2006, ensuring a healthy competitive environment, raising quality and reducing charges of services.
The Ministry of Trade will enact policies to boost development of plane and ship fleets, ensuring charges not higher than the average level of ASEAN countries.
The Prime Minister also asked to facilitate activities of purchasing, hiring, exchanging vehicles, equipment, aircraft spare parts, especially items that Vietnam has not been able to produce.
