According to the Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Avraham Nir, the Israeli Export Institute will also hold a conference in November this year to introduce the Vietnamese market to Israeli companies.

Vietnam and Israel have cooperated in many fields such as agriculture, telecoms and science. Israeli companies have expressed their interests in cooperating with Vietnamese partners in transport and finance.

The two countries signed a trade agreement in 2004. According to Vietnamese customs statistics, bilateral trade between the two countries reached  US$66 million in 2004, with Vietnam’s exports accounting for  US$31.6 million and Israel’s exports for  US$34.4 million.
