Environmental Award Presented to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park

Recently, the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park organised a ceremony to receive the 2005 environmental award under the witness of Phung Van Vui, deputy head of the Environmental Agency and officials from some relevant agencies.

 

Over the past number of years, the management board of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has paid careful attention to the protection of the world heritage site. With the support from domestic and foreign research organisations, the park has made great efforts to preserve its precious and rare animal species, exploiting its potential and advantages, reducing negative impacts on the park’s value, including the environment.

 

The 2005 Environmental Award presented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is in recognition of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park’s efforts to protect the environment.
