Hoa Lac Hi-tech Project

On October 5, at the Hoa Lac hi-tech park, the park’s management board granted a licence to the Teikoku Tsushin Kogyo Information Technology Company of Japan to build a plant for manufacturing industrial robots and electronic equipment.

Teikoku Tsushin Kogyo has become the first 100 per cent foreign-owned enterprise to operate in the Hoa Lac hi-tech park. The company will invest US$4.9 million in a plant for manufacturing robots and electronic equipment, which is expected to become operational in March 2006. All products of the plant will be exported.
