Sony Vietnam Releases LCD Bravia TV

On November 2, Sony Electronics Vietnam organised a press conference to introduce its15-40-inch LCD Bravia TV series (V, S and B) in nine styles. The Bravia V series and Bravia S series feature perfect digital picture reception, 2.0 megapixel resolution screen and wide-range view corners and a true sound system. Bravia TVs can also connect to PC/laptops, camcorders and digital cameras. The light sensor system adjusts the TV light as the lighting in a room changes, with minimal loss of contrast or colour fidelity, to provide perfect pictures to viewers. New Bravia TVs enable viewers to watch two different TV programmes at the same time. The picture caption is also provided in the new Bravia TVs.

 

Currently, Bravia LCD TVs with screens of over 23 inches are made in Japan while models of less than 23 inches are manufactured in Malaysia. The price is US$100/inch. Mr. Nobuki Asahina, marketing director of Sony Vietnam, said, Sony Vietnam expects to be a top LCD TV provider in Vietnam and hopes that our products will replace current popular picture-tube TVs in the country.
