Adhering to the principles of ‘Discipline - Performance - Operational Transformation,’ BIDV My Tho has consistently ensured stable, secure, and efficient operations while maintaining control over credit quality. The branch’s effective business performance in 2023 signifies a remarkable breakthrough and exceptional growth.

As of December 31, 2023, the branch’s deposits exceeded the plan by 70% and showed a year-on-year increase. The outstanding credit balance was 109.8% of the plan, marking a 25% year-on-year rise. The credit quality remained high with bad debt strictly controlled to as low as 0.32%. Net revenue surpassed the plan by 7% and saw a substantial 209.6% increase compared to 2022. Off-balance sheet debt collection achieved 130% of the plan. The pre-tax profit exceeded the plan by 31% and witnessed a 29.9% year-on-year growth. These achievements underscore the secure, effective, and innovative business approach of BIDV My Tho.

Advancing customer-centric digital transformation

In alignment with the ‘National Digital Transformation’ policy, particularly within the finance and banking sector, BIDV My Tho has been proactive in encouraging customers to transition toward non-cash payments. In collaboration with Tien Giang Center General Hospital, BIDV My Tho has implemented non-cash payment methods for hospital charges, utilizing a 2-in-1 smart medical card that serves both as a patient card and a hospital charge payment card. This card offers multiple features such as cash deposit, fee payment, and cash withdrawal, and accepts both domestic and international payment cards for hospital charge payment.

BIDV My Tho has digitized many operations, which are now executed through internet banking and mobile banking on a variety of internet-connected devices such as computers, laptops, and smartphones. Most traditional counter operations have been digitized and integrated into digital banking applications.

With the introduction and development of innovative digital products, BIDV My Tho now offers home loan products on the BIDV Home mobile application. BIDV My Tho supports individual customers in registering for home loans financed by BIDV and enable 24/7 internal and inter-bank money transfer transactions at the BIDV Ezone self-service area. These initiatives underscore the commitment to promoting a customer-centric digital transformation.
