20 Young Enterprises Enter Red Star Prize 2005 Final

The Vietnam Young Enterprise Association has recently announced the list of 20 outstanding entrepreneurs who have won the qualifying rounds to enter the Red Star Prize 2005 Final Round. Finalists comprise of four from joint stock companies and 16 from limited liability companies. Three female young entrepreneurs take part in this round.
 
According to the business achievements of finalist enterprises (in 2004), they grossed VND7,071 billion (US$442 million), paid VND327 billion (US$20.44 million) to the State Budget and created jobs for more than 11,900 people.                                    
 
The selection of typical young enterprises in the Red Star Prize is carried out publicly and is based on three criteria: business establishment processes, business achievements, and associational and social achievements
 
The Selection Council of the Red Star Prize 2005 Final Round will be set up on December 4, 2005 to select 10 most typical enterprises in 2005. Winning enterprises will be honoured at the Prize Awarding Ceremony on December 16, 2005 in Hanoi. Enclosed with the Red Star Prize Awarding Ceremony, the association will also host the Commendation Ceremony to honour its officials of the association who have paid great contributions to the young enterprise campaign and mobilized young enterprises to give donations to the “For the Poor” Fund and the “Vietnam Test Winners” Fund.
