Sieu Thanh Company Presented with Government's Certificate of Merit
Recently, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Sieu Thanh Company (1995-2005), Le Van Huynh, deputy head of the Central Commission for Emulation and Rewarding, presented a certificate of merit to Nguyen Nhan, director of the Sieu Thanh Company in recognition of the company’s contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.
The Sieu Thanh Company specialises in supplying office equipment and machines. Since its establishment in 1995, the company has developed a network of branches and agents nationwide. The company has also developed its activities in Vientiane, Laos. with suitable development policies, the company has partnered some foreign firms, including Fiji and Xerox, to distribute their products on the Vietnamese market.
At a ceremony to mark the company’s anniversary, Yoshio Handa, general director of Fuji Xerox in Asia and Pacific, said that the firm was very satisfied with the Sieu Thanh’s contribution to the firm’s development in Vietnam in particular, and Asia and Pacific as a whole. Sieu Thanh is one of a few enterprises to have young and qualified human resources.
Apart from its success in business activities, over the past ten years, the company has been actively involved in community activities. Recently, the company donated funds to victims of the Damrey storm in Yen Bai and Nam Dinh provinces. The company also gave VND 25 million to the fund for the disabled and orphaned children.
