When mentioning Buddha statues, worship items, gilded with gold, people immediately think of Son Dong craft village. With talented hands, the craftsmen have created many works of art with high sophistication. Wherever you go in the country, you can see worship statues crafted by Son Dong artisans. During the period of international economic integration, many artisans also make fine art products for export, serving the Vietnamese community abroad. This affirms Hanoi's position on the world handicraft map, which is the driving force for Hanoi to continue to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, while promoting the development of craft village tourism and expanding international cooperation in the field of handicrafts.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuan, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, highly appreciated the attention of the World Craft Council as well as the close cooperation between localities with traditional handicrafts in the world. Uzbekistan is a country with a rich culture with many famous craft villages.
