2025: Vinh Phuc Targets Budget Revenue of Over 32 Trillion VND

Recently, Vinh Phuc Province held a meeting with businesses and investors for the Spring of At Ty 2025 with the participation of more than 200 typical businesses and entrepreneurs investing and doing business in this locality.

In his welcoming speech, orienting the economic development tasks and solutions to achieve double-digit economic growth in 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong affirmed: Along with the whole country, in 2024, Vinh Phuc province will carry out the socio-economic development task in the context of many difficulties and challenges, but with the attention of the Party and the State; the determination of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee in leadership and direction; the efforts of all levels, sectors, and localities; and the proactive innovation and creativity of the business community, Vinh Phuc has completed the set targets. Economic growth reached 7.52%, higher than the national average; State budget revenue reached over 31,500 billion VND, of which domestic revenue was over 26,200 billion VND. Cultural and social fields continued to receive investment and development attention; people's material and spiritual lives were increasingly improved. National defense and security were maintained; social order and safety were ensured.

Double-digit growth target

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong said that, implementing Conclusion No. 123 of the Party Central Committee; In accordance with the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 140 on striving for double-digit economic growth in 2025 and Resolution No. 25, dated February 5, 2025 of the Government, the Provincial People's Committee has directed and developed a double-digit growth scenario with the goal of striving for GRDP to increase by 10 - 11% compared to 2024. Of which, the industry - construction sector increases by about 14.5 - 15.5%; the service sector increases by about 10 - 11%; the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increases by about 2.5 - 3.0% and product tax minus subsidies increases by about 3.5 - 4.5%. The total state budget revenue strives to reach 32,100 billion VND; FDI attraction reaches 800 million USD, DDI capital reaches 5,000 billion VND.

To achieve this goal, Vinh Phuc especially emphasizes the group of solutions on institutional improvement and business environment improvement. Continue to simplify administrative procedures, remove bottlenecks, facilitate people and businesses in handling administrative procedures. Focus on attracting investment in large projects, creating momentum for economic growth.

Chairman of Vinh Phuc shared: with the fluctuations of the world economy and the difficulty of maintaining growth targets, 2024 was difficult, but after balancing and reviewing resources, we boldly set a growth target of double digits in 2025, this is also Vinh Phuc's responsibility to the whole country - the locality has been in the TOP for many consecutive years in attracting FDI capital with large global corporations such as Honda, Toyota, Piagio... investing and expanding production and business.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also said that, accompanying businesses, in 2024, the Provincial People's Committee launched the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center to serve as a focal point for receiving feedback and recommendations from businesses and entrepreneurs on a daily basis; periodically arranging a fixed meeting schedule on one day of the week to directly listen and discuss with organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs. From March 2025, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will meet and receive businesses and entrepreneurs periodically in the last week of the month to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses.
