Vietnam Wants More Support for its WTO Bid from US Business Circle

Vietnam needs more support from the business community of the United States for its admission to join the World Trade Organization said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung with Head of Amcham Vietnam Virginia B.Foote at a meeting on March 15 in Hanoi.
 
Besides, Dzung proposed Virginia, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Asian-America Board, to raise her voice in supporting Vietnam’s negotiation process on joining the WTO with the US.
 
He agreed with the guest to consider measures to open up Vietnam’s market to US enterprises in the coming period.
 
Next week, Vietnam and the US will hold a new round of talks on Vietnam’s admission to join the Geneva-based trade body. These discussions are considered the decisive round of talks for Vietnam as they will answer the question of whether or not Vietnam will join the World’s largest trade body this year.
