New Degree Programme Offered at RMIT Vietnam's Open Day
RMIT International University Vietnam has launched a new information technology degree programme at its Open Day held in Hanoi on 19 March 2006. The bachelor of Applied Science (Information Technology) is a seven semester course and the first programme to be offered to students in Hanoi from 2006.
Speaking at the Open Day, the Mr RMIT Vietnam Michael Mann, said “We clearly recognise the huge need for IT professionals in Vietnam and we feel that this degree programme will deliver those professionals. Students not only learn the key IT skills, but also critical skills such as project management, problem solving, critical thinking and communication. These students will be work-ready when they graduate as they have studied the entire course in English”.
