Second Domain Name - National Code .VN Gave Birth

Hi-tek., (DOT VN) in coordination with VNNIC and the whole representatives of resellers.VN held the first annual Internet Resellers.VN Conference on March 23^rd in Hanoi. The conference announced the birth of the second domain name – national code .VN and introduced a development and management project on usage and maximisation of Internet resources in Vietnam; establishment and maintenance of the national domain name .vn host computer system; maximisation of new technologies related to Internet resources.

 

Hi-tek (DOT VN) is currently the unique organisation permitted by Vietnam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIV) – the Ministry of Post and Telematics to popularise and market online the national domain name to the world.

 

In two years’ operation, Hi-Tek supplied online registration services with more than 3,000 domain names .vn to customers worldwide. With specialised technicians in the US, Hi-tek (DOT VN) commits to supply 30,000 to 50,000 domain names .vn registered via international e-commerce portals to Internet Resellers .vn worldwide in 2 to 3 years.
