As Southeast Asia enters a new phase of demographic transition, the Silver Economy is emerging as one of the region’s fastest-growing sectors, driving demand for more connected, accessible, and technology-enabled healthcare ecosystems.

With aging populations increasing across many countries, healthcare organizations are accelerating investments in digital transformation, preventive care, and patient-centered innovation to improve long-term quality of life for senior communities.

Recently, DataHouse Vietnam’s Chief Revenue Officer joined healthcare leaders, technology innovators, and industry representatives at Panel 02: AgeTech & Digital Innovation, where discussions focused on how digital technologies are reshaping elderly care through connected ecosystems, AI-powered early detection, and enhanced patient experiences.

DataHouse Vietnam’s representative, Mr. Tran Dang Phuoc- CRO (center), joined a panel of healthcare leaders to discuss the future of AgeTech and digital healthcare innovation at Danang Global Business Summit

During the discussion, industry experts highlighted that one of the biggest challenges in elderly care today remains the lack of continuity across care systems. Senior patients frequently move between hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and home care environments, yet medical data often remains fragmented across disconnected platforms.

Experts emphasized that interoperability and connected digital infrastructure are becoming essential foundations for delivering efficient, scalable, and personalized care services.

The panel also reinforced that successful digital health adoption depends not only on technological advancement, but also on trust, accessibility, and user experience. For elderly users, simplicity, transparency, and reliable human support remain critical factors in building long-term engagement with digital care platforms.

Another major focus of the discussion was the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in preventive healthcare. Beyond improving operational efficiency, AI technologies are increasingly supporting earlier detection of health risks, proactive intervention, and more effective management of chronic conditions — areas expected to significantly improve healthcare outcomes for aging populations.

The discussion further highlighted growing opportunities for Vietnamese technology enterprises to contribute to healthcare modernization through interoperable platforms, AI-driven analytics, and patient-centric digital solutions.

Vietnam, particularly emerging technology hubs such as, was recognized as having strong potential to accelerate healthcare innovation. Compared to more mature markets constrained by legacy infrastructure, Vietnam has opportunities to develop more agile and scalable digital health ecosystems through collaboration between technology companies, healthcare providers, and policymakers.

As healthcare organizations continue advancing digital transformation initiatives, industry leaders agreed that the next phase of innovation is not only about digitizing medical services, but also about building more connected, inclusive, and human-centered aging experiences for future generations.

At DataHouse Vietnam, we remain committed to helping healthcare organizations modernize operations and deliver connected patient experiences through an integrated healthcare ecosystem — including Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Data Analytics & Interoperability, and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions.
