Ea H'Nil Coffee Co: Improving Product Quality
Ea H’Nil Coffee Co. has a total land area of 1,000 hectares, including half in the area of Project 135. In recent years, the company never stopped trying to overcome its existing difficulties. To date, the firm has 515 employees and 825 ha of coffee, which bears 3,000 tonnes of coffee beans a year.
Especially, Ea H’Nil Coffee Co. applies a programme to encourage farmers to increase productivity and quality of coffee. Hence, Ea H’Nil Coffee Co.’s coffee always satisfies quality requirements.
The company always pays full attention to the daily lives of its employees and season-hiring farmers and contributes to social activities. The firm also builds considerably complete electricity, traffic, school and healthcare systems in plantations. Particularly, three secondary schools, a kindergarten and more than 10 healthcare centres have been constructed to improve the daily lives of locals as well as social security.
However, the development process of the company has also encountered a lot of difficulties, such as fluctuant coffee prices and changeable weather. Meanwhile, salaries for workers and expenditure for social welfares remain high.
The non-stop development of Ea H'Nil Coffee Co. has enabled it to carry out all tasks designated by the State. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the company said: “All employees must bring into full play solidarity spirit and hold fast to farms, and never stop improving product quality and the company will purchase 2,000-3,000 tonnes of coffee beans and 500-1,000 tonnes of agricultural materials.” Ea H’Nil Coffee Co. desires for an annual investment of some VND2 billion from the Vietnam Coffee Corp. (Vinacafe) to improve product quality, people’s lives and national security.
