ECVN Upgrades Member for the First Time

Vietnam National E-Commerce Portal (ECVN) has handed over the Decision to upgrade its members for the first time. To help its enterprise members to heighten their reputation, ECVN has carried out a programme to upgrade its members. After being upgraded, enterprises will have more special supports from the Programme Management Committee, such as online and offline supports for individual enterprises. In addition, enterprises will be trained about e-commerce and ECVN applications and have chances to meet foreign firms via support of Vietnam’s chambers of commerce abroad. In addition, enterprises have their logos and pictures posted on ECVN.

 

Since its operation on August 26, 2005, the number of registered members is on the ceaseless rise. ECVN has been voted the top B2B e-commerce floor in Vietnam, creating 2,000 business opportunities and serving nearly 700 members, including nearly 300 reputed exporters. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, director of E-Commerce Department under the Ministry of Trade said: ECVN will grant e-C/O provision service for enterprises. The roadmap to apply e-C/O will be divided in three phases. The second phase is scheduled for implementation in August 2006. In the initial stage, e-C/O will be provided for golden members.
