Vietnam Television (VTV) co-operated with the FPT Corporation, Vnexpress Online and Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper to launch the financial bulletin in Hanoi on July 26. This is the first programme on finance and monetary programme broadcast daily and updated for 24 hours per day from Monday to Saturday on VTV Channel 1 (VTV1).

Latest information about financial and monetary issues, the stock market, insurance, foreign exchange quotation, bank interests, prices of gold and US dollar in Vietnam and the world will be included in the bulletin.

The programme includes analysis, comments and forecasts of financial and economic experts in Vietnam about the development of the financial and monetary market in the week.

This is considered a transparent and concrete information channel, helping making the financial and monetary market transparent by providing precise information and data for financial investors. Also, it will help make the capital market become busier.

In Vietnam, the financial and monetary market has heated up in recent years and become one of the busiest markets, attracting many investors. In fact, the market is still new for most Vietnamese people, who do not have many opportunities to get access to information about it. With the launch of the programme, deputy general director of VTV Tran Binh Minh committed that VTV would develop a programme useful for television viewers, providing upgraded information about financial and monetary issues, helping them make investment decisions effectively.
