SMEs' Association Opens Rep Office in the South
The Vietnam Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ (SMEs) Association opened its representative office in the south in Ho Chi Minh City on October 10, 2006.
Pham Hai Tung was appointed as chief representative of the association in the south.
Attending the opening ceremony were PhD Cao Sy Kiem, deputy head of the Party Economic Commission and chairman of the Vietnam SMEs’ Association, Vu Mao, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and head of the Committee for External Affairs of the National Assembly, and leaders from the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, press agencies, VCCI, and business associations in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities nearby.
This is a major event marking a development of the SME sector in Vietnam, meeting the increased demand for co-operation, association and support of enterprises during international integration.
