Toyota to Show Camry 2007 at Vietnam Motor Show
Toyota will introduce its Camry 2007 model at the Vietnam Motor Show 2006 to explore the customer reactions for the new model.
The exhibit is the Camry 3.5, which will replace the current Camry 3.0.
An imported 3.5L Camry is quoted at $87,000 while a 3.0L Camry manufactured in Vietnam is sold at $65,000.
Apart from the new generation Camry, Toyota will introduce an IMV model at the fair. This IMV is under the Toyota global project.
Toyota Vietnam, a branch of Toyota Motors Co., will introduce made-in-Vietnam automobiles at the biennial Vietnam Motor Show 2006, which is set to open in Ho Chi Minh City from October 27-31.
According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), Toyota Vietnam sold 9,622 automobiles in Vietnam in the first nine months of 2006, up 16 per cent on year, including 89 Camry 3.0 and 360 Camry 2.4.
