Hoang Thach Cement Co. Starts Work on US$121Mln Production Line
The Hoang Thach Cement Company based in northern Hai Duong province, on February 4 started work on its third production line at total cost of over VND1.94 trillion (US$121.37 million).
Of the total investment, the company’s capital accounts for 10.58 per cent and the remainder from five domestic commerical banks.
The new production line is set to annually produce more than one million tons of clinker or 1.2 million tons of cement.
The project includes 35 bidding packages, the largest one worth nearly EUR53 million and VND80 billion ($5 million), to be carried out by FLSmidth A/S of Denmark.
When operational in late 2008, the new facility will raise the company’s total capacity to 3.5 million tons of cement a year. (Labour, Vietnam Economic Times)
