Vietnam Needs over US$72.8Bln for Traffic Projects by 2020
More than US$72.8 billion will be needed for Vietnam’s traffic projects from now to 2020, under a report submitted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment to the Government.
Of the sum, around US$14.87 billion will be spent for projects by 2010.
The prioritized capital will be mobilized from both domestic and foreign private investments, enterprises with strong financial capacity and ODA sources, construction bonds with State guaranty and state budgets for some big projects.
The private capital from local investors is expected to reach about US$.96 billion from now to 2010, and US$2.55 billion in 2010-2020 phase. (Investment)
