Rubber JSC Opens Shareholders Conference

On April 5, 2007, at Amara hotel, the Rubber Industry and Import-Export Joint Stock Company organized the shareholders conference of 2006, setting the orientation for 2007 and announcing the 2006 dividends as 12 per cent of the chartered capital.

Mr Vu Dinh Dieu, Deputy Director General, said that the conference is most decisive for the coming years as the company will issue stocks valued at VND30 billion for high-class apartment buildings in an area of 5,000 sq. metres, planting nearly 2,000 hectares of rubber in Binh Thuan – Dak Lak provinces, and participating in capital market at an early date. 

In 2006, the export turnover of the company was US$11,236,149. In 2007, the company will expand the export markets, start building two hydro-power stations and establish an insurance company.
