CS Wind Tower CO., Ltd - First Wind Tower Producer in Vietnam

December, 2004 marked a significant moment for CS Wind Tower, as the company inaugurated a production facility in Phu My I Industrial Park after a very short construction. CS Wind Tower is the main partner of Choong San Corp, a world leader in supplying steel structure and metal products. After nearly a year of operation, CS Wind Tower was granted the Best Business Award from Korea Business Association in Vietnam.

 

CS Wind Tower is the first company producing wind towers, the principle part of wind turbines, in Vietnam. According to Mr Choong Shik Kang, Vice President of CS Wind Tower Co. Ltd, wind tower demand is increasing due to strong oil price and concern for the environment. Wind Towers do not effect the environment. They are cheap to use since they do not require fuel, using only wind power.

 

After 3 years, the company has achieved much success in wind towers. The products are exported to New Zealand, the Philippines, the US, Taiwan and other places around the world. CS Wind Tower’s 2006 export value is around US$ 80 million. The company has successfully implemented the Quality Management System (QMS), involving all employees for a defect-free-product.

 

“Our objective is to satisfy all customer demands and expectations. We also aim to develop the local market, because Vietnam has many windy areas. We will remain a good corporate citizen and contribute to the development of heavy industry and environmental protection in the region. We are trying to improve our export value to US$ 100 million in this year”, says Choong Shik Kang.
