Japanese Firm Plans US$32.4Mln Fabrication Plant in Vietnam

Japan’s Meiko Electronics Co., known for fabrication of printed wiring boards, plans to start work on an assembly plant with an estimated investment of US$32.4 million in Vietnam in August this year.
 
The planned facility will be located in northern Ha Tay province, next to a PWB plant scheduled to go on stream within 2007.
 
The new plant, set to cover an area of 18,000 sq.m, will be put into operation in June next year.
