Kinh Do Co Expects Profits of VND170 Bln in Jan-September
Kinh Do Joint Stock Co (KDC) is estimated to have made profits of VND170 billion (US$10.6 million) in the first nine months of this year, representing 70 per cent of its full-year target, said Tran Le Nguyen, the company general director.
The company made high profits because it reported 20 per cent growth of moon-cake sales so far.
The sales are forecast to grow rapidly in the remaining months when the shopping season normally falls on the Lunar New Year, its full-year target is reachable, a company official said.
The HOSE-listed company issued two million shares to raise registered capital to VND60 billion from VND40 billion (US$1 = VND16,000) in 2006.
KDC targets average annual growth of 30 per cent in the 2006-2009 period. (VSE)
