VHC Starts Building US$7.5 Mln Composite Plant in Central Vietnam
Viet-Han Corporation (VHC), a Vietnam and South Korea joint venture, November 16 kicked off construction of a plastic and composite plant costing VND120 billion (US$7.5 million) in the central region,

VHC is set to complete construction of the facility in mid January next year on an area of 43 hectares in Quang Nam province's Dien Nam-Dien Ngoc industrial park, noted the source.
The unlisted firm expected the facility, the first of its kind in the central and central highlands region, will produce 20,000 tons of products each year.
VHC is planning to build two more facilities of this type in the southern and west south yearly next year, said a company official.
Vietnam's plastic market appears great for local and foreign businesses. In the first ten months this year, the country imported US$117.6 million of plastic products, up 29.3 per cent on year, the increase for more than 22 straight months, said the General Statistics Office. (
