Taiwanese Firm Builds US$85.2 Mln IP in Northern Vietnam

Taiwan’s Fugiang Company, under the Honhai Group, has received approval from northern Bac Giang province’s authorities to build an industrial park (IP) worth US$82.5 million, Vietnam News Agency reported on March 05.
 
The Van Trung IP, which will cover a total area of 433 hectares in Viet Yen and Yen Dung districts, will be home to hi-technology and environmental-friendly industries.
 
The province’s industrial park management board March 05 held a meeting to announce the establishment and detailed planning of the IP, the news source said.
 
Separately, Honhai has also got permission from the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to build a 200 hectare residential-service area and a 260 ha-golf-course in Bac Giang.
 
Bac Giang is now home to three IPs namely including Dinh Tram, Quang Chau and Song Khe-Noi Hoang, and nine industrial complexes. (VNA)
